Bringing a Sri Lankan twist to classic pasta! This dish uses Delight Spicy Chili Flakes and Black Pepper to infuse a bold, spicy kick into your favorite pasta. Add chicken or shrimp for extra protein, and enjoy a fusion of flavors!
Ingredients:
- 200g pasta (penne or spaghetti)
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 tsp Delight Spicy Chili Flakes
- 1 tsp Delight Spicy Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Delight Spicy Paprika
- 1 tsp Delight Spicy Cumin Powder
- 200g chicken or shrimp (optional)
- ½ cup heavy cream or coconut milk
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a pan, heat the oil. Add garlic and onions, and sauté until they soften.
- Stir in the chopped tomato, Delight Spicy Chili Flakes, Black Pepper, Paprika, and Cumin Powder. Cook until the tomatoes break down.
- If adding chicken or shrimp, cook them thoroughly in the spice mixture.
- Add heavy cream or coconut milk to create a creamy sauce. Season with salt.
- Toss in the cooked pasta and mix well. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
